Maria Fatima (Carvalho) Sousa

Maria Fatima (Carvalho) Sousa, 71, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2023.

Born in the Azores, she was the daughter of the late Vasco and Ernestina (Oliveira) Carvalho.

Maria loved to spend time with her family, relax with her granddaughter, watch television, and go out for breakfast.

She leaves two children, Jason Sousa (wife Patricia) and Debby Perpetua; a granddaughter, Connie-Ann Perpetua;

a former husband, Pedro Sousa; three sisters, Escolastica Pacheco (husband Joe), Eduarda Botelho (late husband Mario); Manuela Botelho (husband Joe); and two brothers, Manny Carvalho (wife Susie), and Joe Carvalho (wife Lena).

Maria was the sister of the late Gabriella Ferreira (husband Joe).

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Santo Christo Church, Columbia Street, Fall River at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
