David R. Hamel

David R. Hamel, 60, of Fall River, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020.

A graduate of Bristol Agricultural High School, he worked for Jenning's Autobody and other automotive companies in MA. He enjoyed working on cars doing autobody and was an excellent mechanic.

He leaves a son, Lucas Hamel; his mother, Constance (Botelho) Hamel; a sister, Paula Shaker; and a nephew, Josef Shaker and his best friend, Louis Audet. He was the son of the late J. Richard Hamel and the brother of the late Barbara Jeanne Ferreira.

A graveside service will take place Monday, October 5, 2020 at 11:30 AM at Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River, MA.  Facial covering and social distancing required.
