Yvonne Berube

Yvonne (Lamarre) Berube, 92, of Essex St., Fall River, formerly of Brightman St., widow of W. Arthur Berube, died Wednesday, January 5, 2011. She enjoyed embroidery and puzzles and was employed by the former North End Laundry for many years. She leaves a daughter, Evelyn Lomastro of Fall River; 2 granddaughters, Debra Fastino of Fall River and Evelyn Byrnes of Wareham; 3 great-grandsons, Mark Lomastro and Joshua and Jared Byrnes; siblings, Lillian Lambert of Fall River and Normand Lamarre of Middleboro; and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late William "Billy" Berube; the daughter of the late Joseph and Roseanna (Lafleur) Lamarre; and the sister of the late Jeannette Pacheco, Mary Pontes, and Armand, Emile, Ovila "Pete", Wilfred, Napoleon "Nap", Henry, Adrien, and Doris Lamarre. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 9:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the funeral from 8:00 to 8:30 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
