Yvette E. (Roy) Yokel

Yvette E. (Roy) Yokel, of Barnes St., Fall River, wife of 60 years of the late Henry J. Yokel, died, her daughter holding her hand, Tuesday, January 21, 2014. She was the owner/operator of Yvette's Beauty Salon for over 35 years. A member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of Notre Dame Parish, she was an avid reader, enjoyed ceramics and knitting and was a Tiverton Knights of Columbus volunteer. She loved life and her family tremendously. She was the mother of the late Lorraine Santos and Ann Marie Branco (husband Gil) of Fall River; the grandmother of Rodney and Eric Santos, Loriann Lajoie (husband Chris), Stephanie Nowacki (husband Quentin) and Sherrie Branco; the great-grandmother of Kayla, Raine, Nathan, Kory, Owen, Joshua and Aligia; the daughter of the late William "Willie" and Marianna (Paradis) Roy and the sister of Lucille Benoit of Fall River and Alfred Roy of Bridgewater and the late Yvonne Proulx and Andre Roy. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Bernadette Church at 9:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Friday 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
