Yvette (Lavoie) Sowden

Yvette (Lavoie) Sowden, 90, of Somerset, formerly of Fall River, a housekeeper at the former St. Roch and Sacred Heart rectories, widow of Francis Sowden, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014. She was the daughter of the late George and Rose Alba (Bazinet) Lavoie; the sister of the late Marie Roszkowicz, Alban Lavoie and Ulysses Lavoie; and the aunt of Donna Niewola of Swansea, Raymond Roszkowicz of Lakeville, Alban Lavoie, Jr., Joan Gallant and Anne Marie Lavoie, all of Fall River and the late George Lavoie and Dolores Dean. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at Clifton Rehab Nursing Home and Clifton Hospice for their loving and compassionate care of Mrs. Sowden. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a Funeral Service at the Church of Our Savior, Somerset, at 10:00 AM.
