William N. Wilding, 96, of Stafford Road, Tiverton, husband of the late Adrienne (Durand) Wilding, died Sunday, July 14, 2013. The founder of Wilding's Auto Sales, he was employed at the Newport Naval Base many years ago. He was an avid fisherman and was know for his generosity and great sense of humor. He was the father of Nancy T. Cormier (husband Paul "Butch"), his caregivers, of Tiverton, Gloria E. Arrugo (husband Richard) of Fall River, Norma L. Farrell of Mt. Dora, FL and William G. "Mouse" Wilding (wife Rose Marie Capone-Wilding) of Frostproof, FL and the late David N. Wilding; the brother of Beatrice Jones and also leaves grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Norman and Ellen (Yates) Wilding and the brother of the late Harold and Donald Wilding, Lillian McMahon and Mildred Chasse. Visitation, in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Cremation to follow. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
