William R. "Bill" Vieira

William "Bill" Vieira, 72, of Dover, New Hampshire, formerly of Fall River, husband of 46 years of the late Dorothy (Rodrigues) Vieira, died Monday, December 8, 2014. He was the son of the late William and Rita (McGee) Vieira. He retired at the rank of Master Sergeant from the US Air Force after 21 years of service and was Transportation Manager for the US Postal Service for 21 years. Bill was an active member of the American Legion, Dover Post 8. He enjoyed traveling with his late wife and time spent with his family. He is survived by his three children, Bill Vieira, Jr. and his wife Burta of Dover, NH, Lori-Anne Smith and her husband Ron of Barrington, NH and Debra A. Vieira of Bradenton, FL; 5 grandchildren, Amie, Amanda, David, Tyler and Nicole; 4 great-grandchildren, Aliya, Lamar, Afia and Braden; a brother, Richard Vieira and his wife Rita of Tiverton, RI and 2 nieces, Kim Garcia and her husband Eddie and Jessica Vieira; 2 sisters-in-law, Deborah Rodrigues and Patricia Menoche and her husband Dick. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the funeral from 8:00 to 9:00 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
