William H. "Billy" Rogers, Sr.

William H. "Billy" Rogers, Sr., 66, of Columbia St., Fall River, formerly of Watuppa Heights, husband of Ruth Ann (Fonseca) Rogers, died Thursday, February 11, 2010. He was a commercial fisherman and was also employed by North American Rubber Thread. Besides his wife he leaves, his mother, Jeannette (Plante) Rogers and 2 children, Holly Grimsley and William H. Rogers, Jr., of Fall River; grandchildren, Sierra Grimsley and Chantelle Rogers; siblings, Barbara Pelletier, Joanne Correia, Diane Misturado, Denise Vanasse and Steven, Donna, Joseph and Brian Rogers, all of Fall River, Kenneth Rogers of TN, Richard Rogers of PA and David Rogers of Dighton; nieces, nephews and his furry companion "Bailey". He was the son of the late Joseph Rogers and the brother of the late Joyce McCarthy and Robert Rogers. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the service from 8:00 to 9:00 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
