William Rego

William "Bill" Rego, 65, of Ridge St. Fall River, died Monday, March 6, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the former husband of Carol (Carvalho) Rego of Punta Gorda, Florida. Born in Fall River, the son of the late Joseph and Amelia "Mary" (Machado) Rego, he lived in Fall River most of his life and in Somerset for many years. He was employed by Stop and Shop Supermarkets. A member of AMVETS, he served in the Army Reserve and the Massachusetts National Guard. Besides his former wife he leaves a daughter, Tracy Rego of Somerset; 2 sons, Shawn Rego of Somerset and Derek Rego of West Simsbury, Connecticut and a granddaughter, Julianne Rego Good of Connecticut. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 7 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Calling hours Thursday from 4 to 8 PM .
