William D. Mello

William David Mello, 66, of Palmer St. Fall River, died Monday, April 16, 2007 at Saint Anne Hospital, Fall River. He was the husband of Yvonne (Cardoza) Mello. Born in Fall River, the son of the late William and Laura (Correira) Mello, he lived in Fall River most of his life and also resided in Taunton and Spring Hill, Florida. He was employed as an iron worker and enjoyed bowling and woodworking. Besides his wife of 36 years, he leaves a daughter, Cheryl A. Quintal and her husband Henry of Fall River; 2 sons, William David Mello, Jr. of Rollinsford, New Hampshire and Lionel R. Mello of Fall River; A step-son, Stephen K. Sousa, Jr. of Fall River; A sister, Claudia Frazier of Fall River, A brother, Greg Mello of Westport, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
