William G. "Bill" Leblanc

July 22, 1928 — March 15, 2016

William G. "Bill" LeBlanc, 87, of Fall River, husband of Norma H. (Turner) LeBlanc, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 15, 2016. A graduate of Msgr. Prevost High School, he was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and also served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard. He was employed at the Naval Underwater Systems Center, Newport and St. Mathieu Credit Union, Fall River, for many years. He enjoyed daily breakfast with his friends at McDonald's. He loved camping and he along with his wife enjoyed a cross-country road trip after his retirement. This helped to accomplish a visit to all 50 states. Family trips to Canada, Bermuda and the Caribbean were also enjoyed. He also had a love of Disney and shared this with family and friends. Besides his wife of 65 years, he leaves seven children, Theresa Bernardino (husband Gerald) of Taunton, Norma McCarthy (husband Thomas) of No. Attleboro, Anne Pellerin (husband Joseph) of New Bedford, William LeBlanc (wife Gisele) of Fall River, Steven LeBlanc of Grand Prairie, TX, Karen DiLibero (husband Dennis) of Fall River and Michelle Levesque (husband Bruce) of Somerset; grandchildren, Christine Larkin (Ed), Adam Bernardino (Dee), Kara Hartigan (Ritch), Sarah Briley (Nathan), Mary Brousseau (Bob), William LeBlanc (Deanna), Isaac Pellerin (Katie), Gretchen Perry (Brian), Jeremy Duquette, Jesse Pellerin, Nicole Cleary (Patrick), Michael LeBlanc (Emily), Steven Levesque (Tiffany), Abbie Levesque and Ashley DiLibero; great-grandchildren, Kylee and Keven Larkin, Braden and Rory Hartigan, Nolan and Evan Brousseau, Brendan, Juliette and Austin LeBlanc, Amelie Pellerin, Noah Raffa, Calista and Kayla Duquette and Alana Cleary; sisters, Helen Grant of Portsmouth, RI and Doris Henry of Henderson, NV; and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Tilman and Exelia (Plante) LeBlanc and the brother of the late Edward and Norman LeBlanc and Pearl Avylla. His funeral will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Joseph Church at 11:00 a.m. Visitation, Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael Soup Kitchen, 189 Essex St., Fall River MA 02720 or Southcoast Hospice, 200 Mill Rd., Fairhaven MA 02719 .
