William J. Langlais, 68, of Sanford Rd. Westport, died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Saint Anne's Hospital, Fall River, after a long illness. He was the husband of Joyce (Leary) Langlais and the former husband of Elizabeth (Michaud) Langlais of Tiverton. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Joseph "Babe" and Mildred (Braman) Langlais. He had been employed as a manager of Pocasset Country Club, Portsmouth and had worked at Montaup Country Club, Portsmouth, for many years. A member of the Elks Club in Bristol, RI, he had served in the Army and enjoyed duckpin bowling. Besides his wife and former wife he leaves three children, William J. Langlais and Thomas J. Langlais, both of Fall River and Kathleen A. Rego of Tiverton; four sisters, Lillian Levesque, Claire Saraiva, Mildred Jackson and Joan Couturier, all of Fall River; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer, Derek, Kelsey, Ashley, Ryan and Adam Langlais; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Monday evening at 8:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation prior to the service Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
