William "Bill" A. Fink, 83, of Lexington South Carolina, passed away Monday August 30, 2021 at Lexington Medical Center.
William was born in Iselin, New Jersey to the late George & Louise Fink. A United States Navy veteran, William served during the Vietnam War in the Seabee Battalion (CB40). He later was employed as the Maintenance Supervisor at Naval Station Newport, Newport, Rhode Island for 35 years. He also enjoyed building things with his hands, riding his Harley motorcycle, building and racing RC cars, watching NASCAR and spending time with his grand kids and grand puppy.
William is survived by his daughters, Betsy Leite (husband John Leite), and Marie Fink; two sons, Scott Fink and Jeff Cabral all of Fall River; grandchildren, Trevor Fink, Sofia Leite, Cody Fink, Shawn Fink, Jeffrey Cabral and Connor Cabral as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River from 4:00 P.M to 7:00 P.M.
Following cremation, relatives and friends are invited to his committal service with military honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Rd. Bourne, on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 10:15 A.M. (all are welcome to join the funeral procession leaving the funeral home at 8:45 A.M.)
