William J. Beauchesne

August 13, 1916 — February 18, 2015

William J. Beauchesne, 98, of Fall River, a former employee of the Highway Division, Mass DPW, husband of the late Cecile (Brodeur) Beauchesne, entered into rest Wednesday, February 18, 2015. A Navy veteran of WW II, he was an Honorary Life Member of the Franco American War Veterans. A Marian Medal recipient, he was a member of the Particular Council, past-president of the St.Vincent de Paul Society and Holy Name Society member of the of the former Blessed Sacrament Parish. He enjoyed singing and was a member of Anita Raposa's Sweethearts on Parade. He leaves three children, Roger Beauchesne and his wife Karen of Warwick, RI, Lucille Bisaillon and her husband James of Farmington, CT and Diane Gagnon and her husband Raymond of Barrington, NH and was the father of the late Albert Beauchesne (wife Anne-Marie of Virginia) and also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Joseph and Rose (Cote) Beauchesne and the brother of the late Albert, Joseph A., Roland and Alfred Beauchesne, Maria Michaud, Marie Ouellette, Blanche Beaulieu, Berthe Dutilly, Irene Pelletier and Marguerite Boyer. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Mary Cathedral at 10:00 a.m. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the funeral from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
