Wanda Nell (Serafin) Kaczynski

Wanda Nell (Serafin) Kaczynski, 91, formerly of Lapham St., Fall River, widow of Francis X. Kaczynski, died Sunday, November 25, 2007. A graduate of Diman Regional School of Practical Nursing, she was a visiting, private duty and licensed practical nurse, employed by Truesdale Hospital and the Visiting Nurse Association. A poet, artist and sculptor, she was a former member of the Fall River Art Association. She leaves 4 children, Theda Kaczynski of Tiverton, Carol E. Pineo of Granby, MA, Nancy E. Hampshire and her husband Frank of Chapel Hill, NC and Francis X. Kaczynski, Jr. and his wife Betty of Sequim, Washington; grandchildren, Richard, Stephen and David Prario, Katherine, Daniel and Rebecca Pineo, Robin Garner, and Kelly and Keith Kaczynski; 7 great-grandchildren, sisters, Helen M. Butler and Florence R. Richardson, both of California and Edwina F. Cummings of Bristol, RI. She was the daughter of the late Josef and Kathryn (Chrobak) Serafin and the sister of the late Tadiusz J. Serafin and Freda L. Gutter. Following cremation, a service of remembrance will be held on Friday, November 30 at 10:00 AM in the Catholic Memorial Home Chapel, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, her former residence.
