Walter F. Stukus

Walter F. Stukus, 86, of Fall River, husband of Ellen (Cantwell) Stukus, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017.

He was employed by Fall River Gas Co. for 39 years. A Little League coach, he led the Browns team to two city championships. He was a Red Sox and Patriots fan. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed boating and clamming.

Besides his wife of 63 years, he leaves two sons, Mark Stukus (wife Dawn) of Fall River and Matthew Stukus (wife Karen) of Westport; grandchildren, Coral Joy, Matthew Harrison (wife Yuanye), Brandon Walter, Jonathan, Joseph, and Shane; and a great-grandson, Matthew Lixuan. He was predeceased by sister Ruth LePage and parents Walter and Susan (Bigos) Stukus and his cat, "One Eye".

Visitation, at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, will be Wednesday, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
