Walter J. Reis

Walter J. Reis, 63, husband of Madeline (Rego) Reis, of Horizon Drive, Tiverton, and son of Dirce C. (Zantaforni) Reis of Fall River and the late Henry W. Reis, died Saturday, January 28, 2012. A Navy veteran, he was a 30 year member of the Massachusetts Department of Correction, retiring in 2005. Besides his wife of 39 years and mother, he leaves 2 children, Thomas J. Reis of East Providence, and Carolyn M. Romano and her husband Robert of Bristol, RI; grandsons, Jackson P. Reis and Brent D. Romano; and a sister, Paula C. Camera and her husband David of Coventry, RI. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Good Shepherd Church, Fall River, at 9:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation, Tuesday 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
