Walter C. Medeiros

Walter C. Medeiros, 69, of Fall River, husband of Janice (Rebello) Medeiros, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018.

A union bridge painter in his early days, he owned and operated A & W Painting & Sandblasting for 25 years. His biggest joy and love was his family and grandchildren. He was a gun enthusiast, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling to New Hampshire and Hollywood, Florida.

Besides his lifelong devoted wife of 50 years, he leaves two sons, Walter Medeiros, Jr. and his wife Christine of Westport and Jamie Medeiros and his wife Darlene of Assonet; grandchildren, Devin, Carson and Presley Medeiros; followed by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Anne's Shrine at 10:00 AM. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation, Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105. Online guest book at AuclairFuneralHome.com.
