Vivian (Dufresne) Jasmin

Vivian (Dufresne) Jasmin, 90, formerly of Kennedy St., Fall River, wife of the late Albert "Al" Jasmin, died Monday, April 29, 2013. She worked in the garment industry and was a member of ILGWU now UNITE. She was an avid reader and enjoyed Foxwoods and playing cards. The mother of the late Paul Jasmin, Janet Ainsworth and Ronald Jasmin, she leaves daughters-in-law Julie Jasmin and Jeanne Jasmin, both of Fall River; grandchildren Denise Egan, David Plourde, Kristina "Tina (Plourde) Taglianetti and Michael Jasmin; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers Normand "Guy" Dufresne and Robert "Mike" Dufresne, both of Fall River and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Prosper and Marie Louise (Berube) Dufresne and the sister of the late Lorraine Patten, Antoinette Boissoneau, Gertrude Arel and Beatrice Perry. Following cremation, her funeral mass will be held Saturday, May 11, at 9:30 AM in Holy Trinity Church.
