Virginia C Dupont

Virginia C. (Martin) Dupont, 93, wife of the late Clarence E. Dupont, of Fall River, died Sunday, March 20, 2011. During her career as an LPN, she specialized in the care of babies. She enjoyed the out-of-doors and was a long-time member of the Girl Scouts of America. She was a benefactor to the Wind in the Pines, Plymouth and to the Fall River Women's Club. In her earlier years, she loved to sail, participating in Watuppa Pond sailboat races. She was an accomplished gardener of flowers and an avid knitter. Survivors include a sister, Clara Stewart of Westport, nieces and a nephew, as well as grand nieces and great nephews. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Orton) Martin and the sister of the late Charles and Audie Martin. Private arrangements entrusted to AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, Fall River.
