Virginia L. Caballero

Virginia L. Caballero, 82, of Warren, wife of Juan A. Escalante, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020.

Mama Vicky was the foundation of our family. Her smile was radiant and it was apparent in her eyes too, especially when her family came to visit. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren unconditionally. She is the epitome of what every person strives to be; strong, honest, and just an amazing all around good person and mother. She will be missed dearly.

Besides her husband of 58 years, she leaves five children, Norma Filipi (husband Sandro), Cecilia Nadales (husband Luis), Natalia Black (boyfriend Robert), Alvaro Escalante (wife Sheilin) and Ramon Escalante; 12 grandchildren, Karina (husband Justin), Romina, Gianna, Daniella, Thalia, Diego, Sebastian (wife Jenna), Gonzalo, Daniel, Diego, Alejandro and Tiago; two great-grandchildren, Isabella and Liam; a brother, Lucio Caballero and many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Ramon Caballero and Lastenia Silva.

A visitation will be held Saturday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.
