Virgilio Ferraz

Virgilio Ferraz, 68, of Penn St., Fall River, husband of Carmen (Martins) Ferraz, died Thursday, May 27, 2010. Born in é�gua de Pau, Lagoa, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was employed by Duro Finishing Co. for 23 years. He was an active member and volunteer at Santo Christo Parish and a member of Academica Club and Acoriana Band Club. Besides his loving wife of 42 years, he leaves 2 loving daughters, Sandra Lee Ferraz and her companion Dennis Montembault of New Bedford and Carol Ann DaCosta and her husband Manuel DaCosta of Somerset; his cherished grandchildren, Andrew and Marina DaCosta; a brother, Jose DaCosta Ferraz and his wife Maria Lourdes of Somerset and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Bento and Filomena (DaSilva) Ferraz and the brother of the late Maria dos Anjos Estrella. His funeral will be held Saturday at 7:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Santo Christo Church at 8:30 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Friday 5:00 to 9:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
