Violet M. Caron

Violet M. (Plourde) Caron, 83, of Eddy St., Fall River, wife of Bertrand Al Caron, died Saturday, April 12, 2014.

A graduate of Jesus Marie Academy, Class of 1949, she was a thirty five year employee of the Office of the City Clerk, Fall River.

Besides her husband of sixty four years, she leaves two children, Richard Caron and his wife Jane of Fall River and Donna Raftery of Warren, RI; grandchildren, Daniel Raftery, Jeffrey Caron and his wife Rebecca and Julie Silvia and her husband Jared; great-grandchildren, Landry and Charles Caron and Violet, Mitchell and Andrew Silvia; a sister, Louise Read of Jackson Heights, NY and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late George L. Plourde and Yvonne (Arsenault) Costa and the sister of the late George and Theodore Plourde.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Rosary Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
