Victor J. "Vic" St.Denis, 83, of Fall River and Naples, Florida, died Thursday, December 7, 2006. He was the husband of Genevieve J. "Jennie" (Chodkowski) St.Denis. A lifelong resident of Fall River, he was the son of the late Hypolite and Eugenie (Vincent) St.Denis. The founder and sole owner of Vic's Car Washes and Vic's Towing and an investor and real estate developer, he had owned and operated the Main Street Garage, the former Redwood Manor and the former Dairy Kup. He served on the Fall River Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Board for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Fall River Country Club, the Quequechan Club and the Over the Hill Gang, a former member of St. Anne Fraternity and a member of the Board of Directors of the Cascade Association of Naples. Besides his wife of 25 years, survivors include a sister, Henriette St.Denis of Fall River; a brother, Roland G. St.Denis of Tiverton; a grandson, Gary; a great-granddaughter, Sydney and nieces and nephews. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Lafleur) St.Denis and the brother of the late Claire G. St.Denis. His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 9:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance located at the rear of funeral home.
