Victor M. Raposo

Victor M. Raposo, 79, of County St., Somerset, husband of Luisa C. (Santos) Raposo, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015. A former employee of Priority Finishing, he enjoyed gardening, wine making and watching soccer matches. Besides his wife of 52 years, he leaves daughters, Maria L. Couto and her husband Joseph of Somerset, Saulina Raposo of Fall River and Lucy Carvalho and her husband Robert of Somerset; grandchildren, Melissa Reis, Justin Couto, Tayla Carvalho, Hannah Carvalho and Felicity Chaves; great-grandchildren, Austin Deschenes and Miranda Reis; siblings, Joao Raposa of Fall River, Gilda Carreiro and Edward Raposo, both of Somerset and Jesse Melo of Taunton and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Saulina Raposo and the son of the late John Raposo and Maria Gloria Melo. His funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Saturday, prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. LARGE PARKING AREA BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
