Vernon Russell Manchester

Vernon Russell Manchester, 51, of 404 Hartwell St., Fall River, formerly of County St., died Thursday, February 2, 2006 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River. He was the former husband of Jeanne (Martel) Robidoux. Born in Fall River and was raised in Tiverton, RI, he was the son of the late Vernon Manchester and Mildred (Ruest) Michael-Manchester. Mr. Manchester was a security officer employed at Bristol Community College, Fall River. He graduated from Bristol Community College, earning an associate degree in liberal arts. Besides his former wife, his survivors include 2 sons, Timothy Manchester and Stephen Manchester, both of Fall River; 4 daughters, Tammy Manchester, Melissa Manchester and Holly Manchester all of Fall River and Stacy Manchester of Westport; 2 brothers, Donald Manchester of Smoky Mountain, Georgia and Michael J. Michael Jr. of Fall River. 8 grandchildren and nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and the Butler Family of New Hampshire. He was the brother of the late James G. Michael. Private funeral arrangements are by the Auclair Funeral home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.
