Valentina (Goulart) Mota

Valentina (Goulart) Mota, 84, of Hunter St., Fall River, wife of the late Tiberio S. Mota and a former employee of Darwood Manufacturing, died Thursday, April 18, 2013. Born in Capelo, Faial, Azores, she was the mother of Fatima M. Costa of Fall River, Eduarda G. "Dee" Silva (husband Carlos) of Acushnet, Mario G. Mota of Fall River, the late Conceicao Tavares, Edgardo A. Mota of Attleboro, Ana M. Valerio (husband Jose) of Fall River and Manuel DaSilva Mota of North Carolina; the grandmother of Gina M. Luthy, Steve Valerio, Brian Costa, Lee Costa and Keri Anne Silva; the great-grandmother of Joshua and Jason Costa, Julia Valerio and Thomas and Nicholas Luthy; the daughter of the late Jose S. and Filomena A. (Peixoto) Goulart; and the sister of Estela Jesus and Anibal Goulart of Fall River, Fatima Arrais and Benny Goulart of California and the late Jose and Carlos Goulart; and also leaves nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 9:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday 3:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
