Valentina (Ferreira) Duarte, 85, of Ridge St., Fall River, died Sunday, February 11, 2007 at Saint Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Manuel Duarte. Born in St. Michael, Azores, she lived in Fall River most of her life. 3 daughters, Maria Souza of Fall River, Marylou DeFarias of Somerville, MA and Sara Sousa of Ft. Myers, Florida; 6 sons, Manuel Duarte, Jr. of Ft. Myers, John Duarte of Ft. Pierce, Florida, Jose, Luis and Carlos Duarte, all of Fall River and Frank Duarte of Hull, MA; 6 sisters, 31 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Maria Lopes. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME. 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
