Trudy K. Silvia

Trudy K. Silvia, 77, departed this world on Friday, November 8, at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

Born on January 15, 1947, in Fall River, she left a mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.

Trudy dedicated many years of her life to the Opportunity Center in New Bedford.

She leaves behind her beloved sister, Arline Stevens, and her husband Richard, a niece, Kristin Stevens, a nephew, Timothy Stevens, a great niece, Kaylei Stevens, alongside her caregivers and nurses at her group home, especially her main caregiver, Shirley Oliveira, whom she adored.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Silvia and Rita (Flynn) Silvia.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home located at 690 South Main Street, Fall River, MA. 

A funeral service will follow at 11:45 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
