Thomas Sewell

Thomas Sewell, 73, of Hartwell St., Fall River, formerly of Fourth St., died Friday, March 21, 2008. A graduate of Worcester Junior College and Mexico City College and Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he was employed by the Boston Herald Traveler and was a self-employed freelance writer. He was co-author of the book "Moe Berg; athlete, scholar, spy". He leaves siblings, Mary Farrell of Brewster, Donald Sewell of Revere and Robert Sewell of Medford and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Francis and Sarah (Ashworth) Sewell and the brother of the late Catherine Ibbotson, Sarah Chapman, Dorothy Barboza and James, Raymond and William Sewell. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 11:30 AM. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Tuesday morning prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA AND BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
