Thomas David "Red" O'Neil

Thomas David "Red" O'Neil, 72, of Swansea, husband of Barbara (Lizak) O'Neil, died Friday, February 25, 2011. An electrical engineer, he was employed by NUSC, Newport for 33 years. A 1956 graduate of B. M. C. Durfee High School, he attended the former Bradford Durfee College of Technology. He was a member of Green Valley Country Club, Portsmouth. Besides his wife of 45 years, he leaves 2 children, Lisa O'Neil of Swansea and Michael O'Neil of Waterville, VT; 2 siblings, William O'Neil and Gertrude O'Neil, both of Somerset, a nephew, Brian O'Neil of NJ, and 2 beloved dogs Foster and Ace. He was the son of the late William and Margaret (Frawley) O'Neil. Funeral Tuesday at 9 A.M. from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River with a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 1335 North Main St, at 10 A.M. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation Monday from 4 to 8 P.M.
