Thomas J. Garrity

Thomas J. Garrity, 90, of Fall River, husband of Theresa (Bosse) Garrity, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. He was employed as a sheriff's deputy and a correctional officer for 28 years with the Bristol County Sheriff's Office. He was the oldest member of the Italian Progressive Club and was an avid golfer.

He was a Navy veteran of WWII.
Besides his wife of 66 years, he leaves three children, Patricia A. Duchesneau of Harwich, MA, Michael Garrity (wife Denise) of Fall River and Thomas J. Garrity (wife Denise of Milford, NH; two sisters Yvonne Farrow and Wolfeboro, NH and Nancy Burke of Portsmouth, RI
7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaugher; He was the brother of the late John Garrity and the son of the late Thomas J. Garrity, Sr. and Yvonne (Ouellette) Garrity-Letendre;

His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:00 a.m. from Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S.Main St. Fall River with a funeral mass in Holy Name Church, Hanover St. at 9:00 a.m. Visitation Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery.
