Thomas F. Cory, Jr.

Thomas F. Cory, Jr., 75, of Stafford Rd., Fall River, died Saturday, June 10, 2006. He was the husband of Lena N. (Sabik) Cory. Born in Fall River, the son of the late Thomas and Helen T. (Reddy) Cory, he lived in Tiverton in his youth and in Fall River most of his life. He was a summer resident of Little Compton's "Round Meadows" for the past 35 years. An Army veteran of the Korean War and member of Blessed Trinity Parish, he was employed by the former Guimond Farms Dairy for many years. He was the original clam bake bakemaster and a kitchen volunteer for People, Incorporated. Besides his wife of 54 years, survivors include 3 daughters, Barbara Cory, Christine Cory and Lisa Cory, all of Fall River; 3 sons, Thomas F. Cory, III, and John Cory, both of Fall River and Michael Cory of Westport 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Following cremation, relatives and friends are invited to a memorial mass Saturday, June 17 at 2:00 PM in Blessed Trinity Church, 1340 Plymouth Ave., Fall River. Visitation and flowers omitted.
