Thomas “Tommy” Angelini passed away after a brief illness on February 3, 2021 at the age of 64. Born and raised in Fall River, Massachusetts he was the son of the late William and Lucille (Gagnon) Angelini. Tommy was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School Class of 1974. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy. He was assigned to the USS Franklin D Roosevelt Aircraft Carrier and trained as a culinary specialist (CS). Upon completion of his military service, he enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, New York furthering his passion to learn everything he could about food preparation and cooking. Equipped with his newfound knowledge and a strong desire, he embarked on a 40-year cooking career preparing meals in some of the finest restaurants in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He culminated his career working on Cape Cod at Captain Parker’s Pub and Restaurant, his favorite. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing in pool tournaments across the area amassing a huge collection of winning trophies. Tommy leaves behind a rich legacy in the memories of the family he spent those blessed years with. Cherishing those memories are his brother Bob Angelini and his wife Lora of Peru, Illinois; brother Rick Angelini and his wife Angela of West Yarmouth; sister Ann Marie Angelini of Charlotte, N.C.; brother Bill Angelini and his wife Beth of Attleboro; and sister Christine Angelini of Fall River. In addition, he is survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, and faithful friends. Private funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. A celebration of his life will be held this summer once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
