Therese (Lariviere) Rachel

Therese (Lariviere) Rachel, 73, of Westport, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023.

She was the wife of the late Ronald Rachel.

Therese was employed as a Registered Nurse at Charlton Memorial Hospital and was a graduate of Cape Cod Community College. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, reading, vacationing, theater and spending time with family and her pug, Beebee.

She leaves two children, Christopher Rachel and his wife Brenda of Fall River and Tina Marie Rachel (companion Bryan Horton) of Westport; grandchildren, Nicholas, Victoria, Isabella, Alannah and Mckenna;

siblings, Gerald Lariviere (wife Lisa), Normand Lariviere (wife Denise) and Lorraine Gendreau (husband Guy).

She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Rosaire and Alexina (Messier) Lariviere and the sister of the late Robert Lariviere (wife Karen) and Claudette Woss.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 15, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.

Her funeral will be held Monday, October 16 at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a Funeral Mass at St. George Church, Westport, at 11:00 AM. Cremation to follow.
