Therese G. (Gendreau) Cadrin Marchand, 88, of Assonet, formerly of Fall River, widow of Armand Cadrin and Leo Marchand, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013. She and her late husband Armand operated the former Cadrin's Office Machine, Pleasant St., Fall River for many years and she was employed by Rochelle Sportswear. A former Share Program volunteer and member of the Royal Travelers, she was a member of the Guild, Choir and Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of Notre Dame Parish. After moving to Assonet she joined St. Bernard's Parish. An avid knitter she also enjoyed cooking, listening to music and most especially time spent with family & friends. She leaves 2 children, Paul Cadrin (Maxine) of Somerset and Jeanne Morrissette (J. Alfred) of Assonet; grandchildren, Adam Cadrin (Holly Frazer) of Somerset, Dr. Kimberly Morrissette (Dr. Patrick Solari) of Bellevue, WA and Brock Morrissette (Marta) of East Freetown; a great-grandson Matthew Solari; a brother Paul Gendreau of New Bedford and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Delphis and Delia (Delisle) Gendreau and the sister of the late Sister Marie Therese, RJM. Therese donated her remains to Brown University School of Medicine. To celebrate her life, a memorial mass will be held Saturday April 27th, at 9:30 AM at St. Bernard Church, Assonet. Visitation Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So.
