Therese "Terry" (Banville) Banville

Therese "Terry" (Banville) Banville, 73, of Prospect St., Somerset, formerly of Tiffany Dr., wife of Rene L. Banville, died Thursday, November 15, 2007. The daughter of the late Alphonse and Eva (Bibeau) Banville, she lived in Fall River for many years. She was employed by the former R.A. McWhirr Co. and operated Terry's Craft Shop on Riverside Ave., Somerset, retiring in 1991. A member of St. Thomas More Parish, she was a volunteer for both Somerset and Swansea Councils on Aging and enjoyed bingo, pitch, cribbage and trips to Foxwoods. Besides her husband of 55 years, she is survived by 3 children, Paul R. Banville of New Bedford, Gerald R. Banville of Fall River and Karen M. Fernandes and her husband Joseph of Swansea; grandchildren, Erin, Brian and Christine Banville and Corey and Tyler Fernandes; great-grandchildren, Kyle and Evan Monast; a sister, Alice Levesque of New York and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert, Ernest and Arthur Banville, Doris Williams and Anita Margle. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:15 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Thomas More Church, Somerset at 10:00 AM. Visitation, Monday morning prior to the funeral from 8:00 to 9:15 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Burial, private.
