Theresa (Levesque) Viveiros

Theresa Eve (Levesque) Viveiros, 88, of Tiverton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022. She was charming, funny and the day was always just a little bit brighter when she was a part of it.

Theresa was the loving and devoted wife of the late Daniel P. Viveiros, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage. Danny was confined to a wheelchair in 1983 and she was his caretaker until his passing in 2011.

Theresa kept herself very busy with countless friends and many pastimes. She was the founder, past president and current financial secretary of the Knights of Columbus, Fr. Boehr Council Columbiettes and an avid card player, organizing weekly card leagues at various senior centers. She enjoyed listening to music and a night out at karaoke with her friends.

She cherished her family and was happiest when spending time with them. She enjoyed dining out, Sunday game nights at her son’s home and talking endlessly on the phone with her daughter and each of her four granddaughters, all of whom always brought a smile to her face. At home, she relaxed with arts and crafts projects like crochet and coloring.

As a vibrant and fun loving person, Terry will be remembered for her witty, no-nonsense approach to life. She spread joy wherever she went and always put a smile on your face. Her memory will live on in the smiles and laughter of those who loved her.

She leaves two children, Sandra Rosario (husband Raymond), and Gary Viveiros (wife Marybeth); four cherished granddaughters, Kaitlyn McKenna Radkowski (wife Emily), Amanda McCabe (husband Robert), Samantha Mahan (husband Maxwell) and Melanie Viveiros; two great-grandchildren, Jackson McCabe and Alice McCabe; a sister, Muriel Rego, many nieces and nephews and an abundance of friends.

She was the sister of the late Henry Levesque, Armand Levesque, Roger Levesque, Ronald Levesque, Andrew Levesque, Rita Montour, Loretta Levesque and Beatrice Paul and the daughter of the late Ovila Levesque and Aurore (Fournier, Levesque) Ouellette.

Family and friends are invited to attend her services and flowers are welcomed. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 11, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, October 12, at 9:00 A.M. from the funeral home, with a Funeral Mass at St. Theresa Church, Tiverton, at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
