Theresa (Blanchette) St.Amand

Theresa (Blanchette) St.Amand, 95, of Lawton St., Fall River, wife of the late George St.Amand and mother of the late David St.Amand, died Friday, September 21, 2012. A member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of the former St. Jean Baptiste Parish, she was employed by Everett Sportswear for many years. She leaves a daughter, Elaine Strachan and her husband Frederick of Lyman, Maine; sisters, Germaine Levesque of Chicopee, MA and Jeanne Duclos of Swansea; a daughter-in-law, Lorraine (Vidal) St.Amand of Tiverton; grandchildren, Stacy Negley and Scott St.Amand and his wife Debbie; great-grandchildren, Jocelynn Negley and Gauge Wall; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Marie Louise (Lacroix) Blanchette and the sister of the late Irene Daignault Braney, Bertha Croteau, Gabrielle Quade, Alice Grandmont, and Albert, Raymond and Louis Wilfred "Fritz" Blanchette. Her funeral will be held Friday, September 28,at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Mary Cathedral at 11:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Friday morning prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
