Theresa M. (Fisette) Priestner, of Somerset, Massachusetts, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away in Fall River,, on September 2, 2024, at the age of 84. Born on March 26, 1940, in the same city, Theresa's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Theresa a proud graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, dedicated a significant part of her professional life to Aetna Insurance as a claims adjuster. Her career reflected not only her intelligence and tenacity but also her unwavering commitment to helping others. Her kindness and understanding were evident in every interaction, leaving a lasting impression on those who had the privilege to know her.
Outside of her career, Theresa found true joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for shopping, especially through her favorite network, QVC, where she delighted in finding treasures that brought her joy. However, nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her grandchildren. Their laughter and companionship filled her heart, and she often shared stories about their adventures, radiating pride through every word.
Theresa's family meant the world to her. She leaves behind her devoted sons, Peter Priestner (wife Sandra Mclellan) and Paul Priestner (wife Tracy), who carry forward her spirit and values. The love she gave resonates deeply in them and in her grandchildren, who brought a sparkle to her eyes. She is also survived by her grandson Cabot and granddaughter Alden Priestner; brothers, Frederick Baker and Robert Baker, and her sister, Frances Cipriano Matta, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Though Theresa's presence will be profoundly missed, especially by her family, her legacy will endure in the love she shared, the laughter she inspired, and the lives she touched. She joins in eternal rest with her husband, Donald James Priestner, along with her father, Albert Fisette, and mother, Elizabeth (Donais) Fisette.
