Theresa J. (Benoit) Pontes

Theresa J. (Benoit) Pontes, 58, of Fall River, died on Monday, April 15, 2013. She was employed by Bradlees, Talbots Distrubution Center and Walmart. An avid bowler and card player, she was the first Treasurer of the Columbiettes. Survivors include two sons, Derek Pontes of Coventry, RI and Kyle Pontes of Fall River, three granddaughters, Maddison, Morgan and Casey Pontes; her former husband, Charles Pontes of Swansea, three siblings, Arthur Pelletier of Fall River, Debra Deubach of CO, and Lorna Benoit of MS. She was the daughter of Alfred and Eva (Pelletier) Benoit and the sister of the late Alfred "Butch" Benoit, Jr. and Roger Pelletier. Visitation Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
