Theresa M. (Lecomte) Lemaire

Theresa M. (LeComte) Lemaire, 79, of Fall River, died Friday, January 20, 2006. She was the wife of Gilbert P. Lemaire. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late August and Lizzie (Cyr) LeComte. She was employed by Edgar's Department Store for many years and enjoyed dancing, traveling and bowling. Besides her husband of 57 years, survivors include 3 sons, Paul Lemaire and his wife Gale of Milford, NH, Robert Lemaire and his wife Judi of Wolfeboro, NH and Gilbert M. Lemaire of Wayland, MA; 2 daughters, Louise Simonds and her husband Andrew of Newburyport, MA and Claire Kenyon and her husband Stephen of Acushnet; a sister, Jane Thiboutot of Fall River; a brother, Leo LeComte of Fall River; 8 grandchildren, Leon, Max, Jeffrey, Stephen, Amy, Marc, Karen and Kyle Lemaire; 2 great-grandsons, Koru and Gene Lemaire and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Irene LeComte, Lorraine Rego and Rita Arruda. Her funeral will be held Monday at 8:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in the Chapel of Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River, at 9:30. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
