Theresa E. "Terry" (Minville) Dzialo

Swansea, MA. Theresa E. "Terry" (Minville) Dzialo, RN, 88, of Swansea passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016, peacefully, surrounded by her family at her daughter's home on Gardners Neck Road in Swansea. She was the wife of the late Chester J. Dzialo. Theresa was born in Swansea and was a graduate of Joseph Case High School Class of 1945. After high school she was employed by the Firestone Rubber Company in Fall River as an inspector where she met her husband, Chester. Theresa, while raising a family, pursued a life-long passion of becoming a nurse by first graduating from Diman Regional Vocational School as an LPN, and in 1971 graduating from Bristol Community College's first nursing class as a Registered Nurse. She is survived by two children, Stephen P. Dzialo, (a retired School Administrator ) and his wife Julia and Carol A. (Dzialo) Weber and her husband Steven, all of Swansea; five grandchildren, Jeffrey and Stephanie Dzialo, Matthew Weber and his wife Tara and Andrew and Sarah Weber; two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Brooklyn Weber; siblings, Claire Fay of Cape Cod, Pauline Rocha of Swansea and Roger Minville of Montmagny, Canada; and nieces and nephews. Theresa was born the third child of five children to the late Maxime and Blanche (Courchaine) Minville of Swansea and was the sister of the late Joseph Minville of Southboro, MA. Theresa was a member of the former Our Lady of Fatima Parish and now St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Swansea and was a former member of the Royal Travelers Association where she held the office of president for several years. Her funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Swansea. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning, at the church, prior to the mass, from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m..
