Theresa M. (Skurka) Bettez

Theresa M. (Skurka) Bettez, 81, formerly of West Warwick, presently of Fall River, wife of George Bettez and daughter of the late John and Josephine (Forys) Skurka, entered into rest Tuesday, March 29, 2016. She was a member of the Rosary Sodality of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish, Coventry. She enjoyed bingo and gambling. Besides her husband of 62 years, she leaves four children, George E. Bettez (Eleanor) of Lee, Maine, Paul J. Bettez (Kathy) of West Warwick, Lisa Tremblay (Roland) of Fall River and Lori McElroy (James) of West Warwick; grandchildren, George Bettez, Ryan Cabral, Steven Bettez, Justin Bettez, Lisabeth Tremblay, Ashley McElroy, Russell Tremblay, Amy McElroy and Brittney McElroy; great-grandchildren, Smara Bettez, Alex and James McElroy and Bentley Bettez and a sister, Eleanor Laroche of Coventry. Following cremation her funeral mass will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Coventry. Donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 275 Martine St., Fall River MA 02723.
