Steven P. "Bones" Silva

Steven P. “Bones” Silva, 59, of Fall River, a 34 year employee of Teknikor,

passed away at his home with his family by his side Saturday, September 3, 2022.

He was the husband of Donna M. (Lewis) Silva.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Lawrence M. “Larry” Silva and Irene L. “Sue” (Bosse) Silva.

Steve previously was employed as a cook at Buddy’s Restaurant and McGovern’s Family Restaurant. He was also a master plumber/pipefitter licensed in Massachusetts and Connecticut. His joy was cooking his Mom’s favorite recipes, especially her Portuguese stuffing and he perfected his clam chowder and clam cake recipe which were always thoroughly enjoyed by his family and friends.

He was a huge fan of the Chicago Black Hawks and Boston Bruins.  He enjoyed playing golf. Steve treasured attending his son’s numerous sporting events,  traveling to Aruba with his wife over the years for their yearly wedding anniversary, and spending time with his grandsons.

Besides his wife of 34 years, he leaves two sons, Bryan S. Silva (wife Marissa) and Jason M. Silva;

two grandsons, Hayden and Mason;

six siblings, Deborah Cote (husband Robert), Lawrence Silva (wife Donna), Raymond Silva (wife Michelle), Susan Delisle (husband Donald), Joseph Silva (wife Cathy) and Sandra Resendes (husband Kelly); four brothers-in-law, John, Wayne, Scott and Robert “Bobby” Lewis; numerous nieces and nephews and his pet dog “Lexi”.

Steve was the son-in-law of the late Marie Lewis.

His visitation will be held Wednesday, September 7, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St., Fall River.

A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, September 8, at 9:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
