Steven Michael Moniz

Steven "Steve" Michael Moniz, 43, of Fall River, MA passed away on October 2, 2015. Steve was a warmhearted and gentle soul who had a talent for making those around him smile. He had an ear for music, enjoyed playing the drums, was a sports enthusiast, and an avid New England Patriots fan. In addition to being a devoted family man, he held an immeasurable amount of love for his children. Steve was the son of Maria Dos Anjos Sineiro Moniz and the late José P. Moniz. He is survived by his sons, Jaryn and Kory Moniz, his wife, Pauline Moniz, and beloved granddaughter, Tiara Bird. He was the father of the late Jerry Bird. He leaves behind his treasured older siblings, Joseph Moniz, Anna Cabral-Bussiere, Mario Moniz, Maria Achadinha, and Carlos Moniz. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. His memory will forever flourish in the hearts of those who loved and cared for him deeply. A private funeral service will be held in celebration of Steve's life. The family wishes to thank all of those who have shown support and ask that donations be paid forward in the form of love and kindness to others.
