Steven P. Massey

Steven "Porcupine" Massey, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, left this world on November 18, 2024, at the age of 62. Steven was born on May 24, 1962, and dedicated his life to his family and his career as a truck driver in commercial trucking, where he was respected for his hard work and commitment.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Kathryn M. (Carpenter) Massey; Steven is also survived by his son, Daniel W. Henry (wife Stacy); and his daughter, Crystal Lisi (husband Christopher). He found great joy in being a grandfather to Ziggy Henry, Moon Henry, Jude Henry, Gianna Lisi, and Rylen Lisi, spending cherished moments and creating lasting memories with each of them.

Steven was the loving brother of Paul N. Massey (wife June) and is also remembered fondly by his nieces Brooke and Nicole who will carry his memory forward.

Having a passion for NASCAR racing and a love for the Boston Bruins, Steven had a vibrant spirit that resonated with those around him. New Hampshire held a special place in his heart, particularly the lakes region and White Mountains, where he enjoyed the serenity of nature.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Evelyn (Cotta) Massey.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life and legacy during visitation on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Monday, November 25 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, located at 690 South Main Street, Fall River, MA 02721.

Burial will be in Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Main Rd. Tiverton.

Steven P. Massey will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will remain alive in the hearts of his family and friends.
