Stephen Guimar, 51, of Fall River, husband of Deborah (Guthrie) Charbonneau, died Sunday, June 28, 2009.
An avid fan of the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins, he served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard and was employed by Gold Seal Tank.
Besides his wife he leaves 2 sons, Randy and Brian Guimar of Wisconsin; siblings, Gary Guimar, Nancy Guimar and Barbara Laferriere, all of Fall River, Carol Marshall of Cape Coral, FL, Francine Bouchard of Swansea and Patricia Mello of Warren, RI; stepchildren, Kimberly and Brian Desrosiers; his stepmother, Catherine Baker of Fall River; stepsiblings, Doug Baker of Wareham, Denise Chabot, Dawn Dailey and Derek Baker, all of Fall River, Debra Pruett of East Providence and Donnetta Soares of Bristol, RI; grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late Omer "Pete" and Doris (Pineault) Guimar and the stepbrother of the late Duane "Bam Bam" Baker.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 7:45 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Dominic Church, Swansea, at 9:00 AM. Cremation to follow.
