Stella H. Cummings

Stella H. Cummings, 93, of Haskell St., Fall River, widow of Albert A. Cummings, died at home on Sunday, January 8, 2012. She was employed by the Massachusetts Department of Corrections for 20 years at MCI Bridgewater, Norfolk and Cedar Junction, retiring as Chief Administrative Clerk of Records from MCI-Cedar Junction-Walpole. She was a member of the Fall River Garden Club and the Red Hat Society of Fort Pierce, Florida, and a former Cub Scout Den Mother. She leaves children, Jacqueline F. Cummings and Herve R. Cummings, both of Fall River, Patricia R. Kalble and her husband Steven of Newport, RI, and Albert A. Cummings, Jr. of Cranston, RI; grandchildren, Hudson and Mitchell Kalble and Dagny Bowen; great-grandchildren, Sydney and Ashland Oswald; and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Stefi Coffman and the sister of the late Flo Twombly. Her funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
