Stasia V. Dupuis

Stasia V. (Makara) Dupuis, 84, of Fall River, widow of Armand J. Dupuis, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017. Beloved mother of Sharon A. Marsden (husband Brian L.) of Somerset and Beverly Navarro (companion Mark Nanopoulos) of New Bedford; grandmother of Keith Navarro (companion Alexandra), Timothy Navarro (wife Robyn), Stephen Navarro (companion Joanna), Kyle Marsden (companion Kayla) and Kevin Marsden; great-grandmother of Autumn Navarro and aunt of many nieces and nephews of RI and CT; daughter of the late Joseph John and Sophie (Pysz) Makara; sister of the late Mary Beausoleil, Frances Clark, Walter, John, Thaddeus and Valentina Makara. A graduate of Henry Lord Middle School, she was employed by various sewing shops. She worked for Lamport Mfg. for 22 years and retired from Charlton Memorial Hospital after 22 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, bus trips and senior center outings. After her retirement, she mostly enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Her funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S.Main St.Fall River. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery.
